What does the generative AI report contain?

Two reports: one for Search’s AI features (AI Overviews and AI Mode), one for Discover’s. Each details impressions, pages, countries and dates; devices are available for Search. This data is also still counted in the overall performance report.

What are the limits of the report?

No clicks, no CTR, no queries at this stage. According to early analyses, the report groups AI Overviews and AI Mode with no way to tell them apart. It measures Google only: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot are outside its scope.

How do you use it?

Spot the pages gaining AI impressions, compare them with their organic positions and cross-check with CTR changes in the classic report. A gap between AI impressions and clicks signals visibility without traffic. The dedicated article details the method step by step.

Where do I find it?
